My husband and I lived out of state and owned a home in Tucson for 15 years that was a rental. Our intent was to retire in that home but we changed our minds. Over the years, we thought about selling and decided to find a realtor to discuss the market. Troy was recommended highly to us and we began discussions over 10 years ago. Despite market conditions and the fact that we were undecisive about selling, Troy nonetheless generously gave his time and opinion on surveying the market and answering our questions. 

In 2020 my husband passed away and I was no longer willing to keep the rental. Since Troy was our 'go-to guy' with questions on real estate, I asked him to handle all the logistics and sell my house. We met Troy in October 2016 during an open house. We were not looking actively for a house yet but went to check that house located in a neighborhood we always loved. And it was love at first sight. We told Troy we were buying the house immediately the same day. We were first time buyers, and although we knew close to nothing about buying a house, everything went incredibly smoothly, the paperwork, the inspections etc... Troy was with us at each moment, sharing his knowledge and experience, giving us guidance and advice. The inspectors he chose were the best ones. They found important details that other did not see. Unfortunately we had to cancel because of unexpected allergic reactions to the house, probably because it was an old house and had also dogs. It was very hard for us because we loved the house and we were already very advanced in the buying transaction. Still Troy was with us all the way. He understood our predicament. Even though he did a lot of work for nothing, he did not react like a sales person losing a sale but instead reacted on a personal level and was as concerned about our health issues as if they were his own. Then we looked for another infinite number houses with Troy. It took us more than 6 months to find one and Troy not only was very patient, but knew instinctively our likes and dislikes, sharing for all these months of active research our concerns and hopes. As first time buyers we were really difficult, we wanted the best house with everything we liked in it. Finally it happened. Again Troy went through all the inspections and was even there to advice us on the mortgage process and qualification. His attention to details was extraordinary. He helped us more than any realtor would have ever done. He helped us with the complicated mortgage paperwork, he was there even when we signed the Title making sure the agent would explain each page to us before signing it, protecting us at each step. I am afraid to think what would have happened without him. We are now living in a beautiful house, thanks entirely to him. The entire process was not the nightmare everyone said it was and we have to thank Troy for that. He knows Tucson, all the neighborhoods, the market value and so much more. I always appreciated the fact that he was very attentive to respect the houses we visited, leaving them as we found them. He did not leave doors or windows or lights open like other realtors do. TROY IS A SPECTACULAR AGENT!  I sold my old house in Prescott AZ in three days with a 30-day closing deadline, and had only a few days to find a new home in the Tucson area, make any necessary repairs, schedule new utilities, and move my things (without storage) and me to Tucson.  Troy basically stopped his personal life to find me a new home and help me to move into it.  He located homes meeting my stated criteria and emailed me his suggested lists and advised me of the good, bad, and ugly on houses I wanted to view.  When I got to Tucson for two days, he dropped everything to show me homes of my choice, provide me new choices to review, and again advised me about the homes on the new list that I wanted to view.  Once I selected the home I wanted to buy, he provided me excellent negotiating advice (saving me thousands).  Once the purchase contract was executed, there were few days left to close.  Troy arranged for expeditious necessary inspections and paperwork.  The house needed immediate and substantial repairs, many of which were required before a brief time frame closing.  Troy again stopped his personal life to help me locate contractors to do repairs (all of whom were excellent) and help me arrange for utility services.  Because of Troy's tireless efforts on my behalf, I found my new home, timely closed, and seamless moved my things into my home without storage - all in about 15 days and mostly from 200 miles away.  THANK YOU TROY!
